Porsche 11 Carrera RSR Turbo 2.1 (LEGENDS COLLECTION)
The 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Turbo 2.1 was the first turbocharged car to race at Le Mans. In order to meet the 3-litre class limit, the 911’s engine capacity was decreased to just 2.1-litres but with the 1.4 turbo multiplication factor, the capacity requirement was met. Output was a massive 500 bhp giving the 911 a top speed of around 310 km/h. Four of these race cars were produced, and the best result was an overall second-place at the 1974 Le Mans 24 Hours in the hands of Gijs van Lennep and Herbert Müller.
