14th February 2018 by: Glen Smale | Leave a Comment

FIA WEC 2015: 6 Hours of Spa-FrancorchampsBorn: 28 October 1988
Where: Lyon, France
Lives: Höchst, Austria
Marital Status: Single
Height/Weight: 1.84 m/72 kg

Kévin Estre heads into his first season as a Porsche works driver and thus has come full circle. The Frenchman honed his craft as a race driver in the Porsche one-make series in France and Germany. After netting two junior classifications, he finally took home the Carrera Cup France title in 2011 with an impressive track record: 10 wins, 10 podiums, 10 fastest race laps. After switching to the extremely popular Carrera Cup Deutschland the following year, the avid skier continued to steer a steady course, immediately scoring victory and ultimately clinching ‘Rookie of the Year’ honours. A year later he was ready for overall victory, and with nine race wins he eclipsed the opposition. And in 2015 he passed his baptism of fire in the Sports Car World Championship with flying colours when he crossed the finish line in third place (GTE-Pro class) at his first outing in the 911 RSR.

At the Nürburgring 24-hour race, he drives a 911 GT3 R for Manthey Racing.
